One of the Best Ways to Get Brilliant Ideas...and it's not what you think...

Would you like to have more creativity, better ideas, and more flashes of brilliance? I'm sure that you've found, like me, that there are a number of ways to be more creative...But now there's more proof of a simpler answer to a creative brain: exercise.

Research shows that during exercise, the human brain shifts into "high gear"...more exercise, more oxygen, more "high gear" thinking. I don't know about you, but when my brain is in high gear, creative ideas sometimes pour out faster than I can write them down. And out of those flashes of creativity comes fantastic movement--bringing growth to our homes & work, results in increased bottom lines, and value to those around us.

Need proof? Read this blurb from the Science Daily article:
"According to a study by researchers from Denmark and The Netherlands, the brain, just like muscles, works harder during strenuous exercise and is fueled by lactate, rather than glucose. Not only does this finding help explain why the brain is able to work properly when the body's demands for fuel and oxygen are highest, but it goes a step further to show that the brain actually shifts into a higher gear in terms of activity.

If you like research like this, check out the research that shows that exercise can increase brain growth and exercise builds brain cells.

So if you want a clearer picture, a brighter idea, and a flash of brilliance, get up tomorrow morning and break a sweat. Your mind will flourish...and you may just come upon that brilliant idea that you needed.

All my best until next time,
Erin

PS. That's why I started my day today on the treadmill...yes, even with 6 kids eating breakfast and getting ready around me and a full day of appointments and writing. No excuses! I want to feel the best, look the best, and tap into creativity and brilliance that brings value to those around me. Don't you? Then let's do it!
